And what really stands out is Eva Green. She plays Artemisia. And she is… let me tell you right now — I know the year is young, but she is the kick-ass movie bad-ass of 2014. She just rips people apart. A great villain across the movie. Double swords. Fighting. Hand-to-hand combat. Everything. And she really commands the screen. And the rest of the actors are kind of disposable. But she really commands your attention any time she’s on the screen.
